Major escalator repair at Montgomery Station 7/8-8/1

We are removing from service the platform-level escalator near the fare gates at the Market and 2nd Street end of Montgomery Street Station on July 8, 2018. This is a major repair that will replace the step chain which has reached the end of its effective use.

The unit will be out of service for until approximately August 1 (it will be returned to service as soon as possible.
