Single-tracking through Daly City Station nights and weekends in 10/1-11/2

Update: On Sunday, 10/28 trains from Dublin/Pleasanton will turn back at 24th Street. Passengers wishing to continue on will need to transfer to a Millbrae/SFO train.

Our crews will be working at night on weekdays Monday-Thursday, October 1 through November 2, and all day and night Sundays, October 14, 21, and 28 on the Daly City station platform and trackway to install a waterproofing membrane and replace worn expansion joints.

Most of this work will be completed during non-service hours. However, some work will happen during service. During the week (Monday-Thursday), work will start at 10:00pm and continue through end of service. Weekends, work will begin at 1:30am Sunday morning and continue through the night. Service will return to normal for the Monday morning commute.

  • On Sunday, October 14 and 21, only Platform 2 will be in use for all trains.
  • On Sunday, October 21, Dublin trains will turn back at 24th Street--customers traveling from Dublin/Pleasanton will need to transfer at 24th Street to a Millbrae or SFO bound train and customers from Daly City, Balboa Park and Glen Park will see fewer trains.
  • On Sunday, October 28, Platforms 1 and 3 will be in use.

The contractor will use generators, lighting, hammer drills, blowers, and grinders to perform the work. The noise from the work is not expected to exceed the freeway noise adjacent to the project.

We understand that this will be an inconvenience for you. We appreciate your patience
