Pay By App

Use the official BART app to purchase Daily Fee, Reserved (single/multi-day, monthly and EV), Carpool, and Non-BART parking. Download from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and pay with credit/debit card, Venmo, or PayPal.

You'll be asked to enter a vehicle license plate and Clipper number to complete payment on the App.  The Clipper card number is used to verify that you are a BART rider - pay either ten minutes before or after entering the faregates. If you delay payment, a citation may already have been issued by the time you remember you did not pay. Clipper balance may not be used to pay for parking.

You may pay individually for each parking purchase (choose "single payment"); for daily fee parking you also have the option to use a wallet (choose "pay by wallet” payment). The wallet will load a minimum of $25 each time the balance drops below $5. For frequent daily fee parking users, the load amount will automatically increase to reflect your typical monthly spending.

Introducing “Tap and Go” – Pay for parking with one tap

The “Tap and Go” feature allows you to pay for  parking with one tap from the app home screen. To enable the feature, visit the Daily Fee section of the latest version of the app. You’ll need to create a parking wallet if you don’t already have one and register up to five license plates. Once the feature is enabled, a “pay now” button will appear on the app home screen allowing you to pay for parking with one tap.

Reserved Parking for Single/Multi and Monthly parking

For Reserved parking, choose either monthly, single/multi-day or EV and add a license plate and phone number to your BART Official App profile. Purchase monthly if you are not leaving your vehicle overnight. Purchase single/multi-day to park for one or multiple days at once. Park in the Reserved or “Permit” area. Purchase EV if you want to reserve an EV space before arriving at the station. There is no need to display anything in your vehicle.

Non-BART parking is for those parking at BART in the early morning (between 3:15 and 5:30 am) and catching connecting Early Bird Express bus service. These users do not need to be BART riders and should park in the Daily Fee area.

Reserved parking can also be paid for at this website
